New toy

I got a new Blackberry today. I'm so excited. It is taking a while to figure it out, but I think I'll like it! I can actually text now. My old phone's screen went blank. I never knew how much I depended on that phone until it wouldn't work right. I'm not even on it that much. It also did not have a keyboard so it only took me about 30 minutes to send a text (seriously, I'm not kidding). Well, just had to share even though it really isn't that important. Sometimes it's the little things.

Thank Goodness!!!

On Tuesday Trey's class went to the Butterfly Palace in Branson. That place did such a great job and they were very organized. We saw some beautiful butterflies like these.

Trey had a great time until he started getting upset that the butterflies were not landing on him. The lady said that if you have on bright colors or smell good that they might land on you. So, he kept saying, "I wish I had on a brighter color and I must not smell very good." And the drama went on and on. Some of the other parents tried to help by saying that they saw a butterfly land on his back. He didn't buy it though. Finally, as we were about to leave, one was on the ground and crawled onto his finger. The monarch butterfly saved the day!!! Now, Trey says that is his favorite kind of butterfly.

The tears were finally replaced with smiles! Thank Goodness!!!!!!!!!

Those First Steps

Lexi took her first steps this weekend. A little wobbly, but two steps none the less. Today she actually took about 5 before she toppled over. It seems just like yesterday I was constantly washing bottles and wishing I weren't. Well, we're just down to one bottle now and I am wishing I weren't. Where does the time go? I think about Trey and how he is almost a 1st grader now. How did that happen? I've decided to spend less time worrying about the little things and more time cherishing them!

Happy Easter

Even though the weather was damp, our spirits were not. We had a great service at church today. The choir was really good too! The kids looked soo cute in their matching Easter clothes. After church, we went to my aunt and uncle's house for some awesome food (as always)!

Busy Day

We started the day at my friend Molly's house for her 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Lexi stayed home this year but Trey and I went. He had a great time hunting eggs and meeting the Easter Bunny!

Later, my niece Brianna had her 6th birthday party at Chesterfield Pool. We all went and Lexi got in the pool for the first time ever! At first she wasn't too thrilled, but eventually she quit crying and ended up LOVING it!

Will Power

Why is it so hard to have will power? I'm trying to drink more water but I am having a really hard time forcing myself to drink it! I know it would make me feel better, my skin wouldn't be so dry, and it would probably help me from breaking out. But, I love tea!! I drink it all day long. As I'm making my tea I say to myself that I should be getting a glass of water, but do I? Of course not! Same thing with eating better. As I was stuffing my face with many, many spoonfuls of cookie dough today I was thinking to myself don't do it. Swimsuit season is just around the corner. But, I kept on shoveling it in my mouth. I am a smart woman, so why can't i have any will power?
