No time

You would think now that school is out that I would have plenty of time to make new posts. That has not been the case. Don't really know what I'm doing that takes all my time, but it goes somewhere! Lexi's birthday is coming up Saturday, so be looking for new birthday pix next week!

Lexi's Chair

My mom got Lexi this chair (before she was even born of course), and Lexi absolutely loves it! She will play in that chair forever. She sits, then she climbs, then she stands, then she swings her feet, then she lounges, then she gets a book and pretends to read. It's one of the cutest things to watch. Thanks mom!

Here she is just loungin' in her chair. Oh yah, it even came with a little ottoman too.

Catching up on Trey's week

The other day, Trey wanted to try on his baseball pants to make sure they fit for the upcoming T-ball season. He also put on his ECU jersey. Curt's cousin, Jake, played college baseball and got this jersey for Trey a year or two ago. It has Jake's number on it and he even has a matching hat! Hey batter - swing!

Trey had his very first field day at school this past Monday. He had an absolute blast! Here he is racing to the finish line to hand his cup off to his teammate Ty.

They had to put water in a cup (which of course had holes in the bottom) and during this relay they had to hop to the other side then pour the water (if any was left) into the pail. Most of the water got on the kids instead of in the pail!

Curt came home from work today wearing his uniform. Normally he wears slacks and a shirt. Lexi has never seen Curt in his uniform. She was very curious. She especially liked his shiny badge!
Of course, Trey had to get into the mix and have his picture taken too. I wouldn't have it any other way!

Kindergarten Celebration

Tonight was Trey's Kindergarten Celebration. It's so hard to believe that my baby boy is almost a 1st grader. Time sure flies by.

As you can see, Trey wanted to look extra special for the concert. He loves to dress nice in his suit coat and tie.
Here is Trey with his teacher, Ms. Sorrell. She is awesome and Trey just loves her. She has taught him so much and they do some amazing things in her class. We love Ms. Sorrell!

Little Diva

It's amazing to me how young kids learn by watching. Lexi found my purse on the table. She grabbed it and kept trying to put it over her arm on her shoulder. It was a little too heavy for her to get it up there though. But she kept trying over and over. It was so precious!

She finally got tired of trying and decided to just sit down to investigate the contents of the purse. Iguess she's going to be a purse girl!
